CeraVe is not currently cruelty-free. The company does sell products in China, where animal testing is required by law. However, CeraVe is working on reformulating its products so that they can be sold in China without being tested on animals. This process is expected to be completed by 2021. Once finished, CeraVe will be officially considered a cruelty-free company.
